PROJECT Annual Gala Event
NEED El Rio turns to Cirrus every year to create memorable graphics for their annual Gala event. We plan months in advance since we're a part of every touch point, from the save-the-date to the evening's programs. The visual themes also inspire the event décor.

CHALLENGE Working with varied applications and assets to provide cohesive, branded yet unique event graphics to be utilized in a gala setting.
SOLUTION After El Rio decides on an event theme, Cirrus creates mood boards to establish visual direction, then builds out the initial concepts that all the other assets will use as guidance. We help manage a series of deadlines leading up to the event with all the digital and printed marketing needs.
RESULTS The event campaign was a success! El Rio hosted a glamorous, exciting event for their guests and raised charitable donations.
We start the initial theme concepts with “Mood Boards”, researching visual and décor inspiration to establish a general direction.
Cirrus ultimately explored different variations of the Cirque El Rio mark based on the Cirque de Soleil performances. Design elements were created, as well as formulating a color palette. The primary colors are part of the official El Rio brand, and the extended colors were used in the overall design and the décor of the event space.
These photos showcase the printed collateral created for this event, as integrated into the theme-inspired decor. The programs, signage, photo back wall, and custom spotlight are all based on the design campaign.
